VisionGift
Everyone has a Fundamental Right to See.
The gift of sight is something that many people don‘t fully appreciate until they’re faced with the impacts of their own failing sight, or that of their loved ones. Fortunately, sightlessness due to cornea disease or dysfunction is something which can be repaired, and that’s where VisionGift comes in.
More Than A Box: VisionGift delivers tissue locally, across the United States, and to 56 countries worldwide. It's part of our continuing mission to restore sight and improve lives.

VisionGift's very own Medical Director, Dr. Afshan Nanji, will be featured at Science on Tap on Wednesday, May 27 at the The Alberta Rose Theatre for When the Window Breaks: How Vision is Rebuilt.
Dr. Nanji will help explore how the cornea works, what happens when it becomes damaged or cloudy, and how treatments, including the gift of donated tissue, can help restore sight. We’re proud to see her sharing this important work with the community!

Khoa Tran, our Vice President of Research & Development, recently took VisionGift all the way to Italy - and made sure to visit a couple of very famous Davids while proudly wearing his 'See the Gift' glasses.
We also appreciate Khoa’s strategic photo placement to keep things fully aligned with Facebook’s community guidelines. Restoring sight, supporting science, and protecting modesty — all in a day’s work. 😎🇮🇹

FAQ: Who can be a donor?
Anyone can. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what color your eyes are or how good your eyesight is. Aside from those suffering from infections or a few highly communicable diseases such as HIV or hepatitis, most people are suitable donors.
The great thing about corneal tissue is that everyone is a universal donor. Your blood type does not have to match.

Hand-painted rocks were shared throughout the day, sparking meaningful conversations about the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation and the lasting impact one donor can make. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect, share kindness, and help others
