From babies to ambassadors.

This is one of those photos that stops us in our tracks. Faith and Kate as babies, and then Faith and Kate at Smiles in Bloom today. This is what community looks like over time. Kids growing in confidence. Friendships forming. Voices getting stronger.

Thank you for supporting Smile Oregon and for helping children and families impacted by cleft and craniofacial conditions feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

What a night! Here is your 2026 Gala recap :)

Smiles in Bloom started with a literal bang.

Smile Oregon teen Jayden Stoner and his enTaiko troupe opened the night with an incredible performance, then Youth Ambassador Gabe Wagner brought warmth and courage as our emcee. Adrienne Livingston from Artisan Auctions kept the energy high, and the generosity in the room was unforgettable.

Kate Schenk shared her story (all heart), and we also celebrated Kate as our Founders Award scholarship recipient. She then honored Faith Cagle as Smile Oregon’s newest Youth Ambassador.

And the “for the kids, by the kids” spirit was everywhere. Riley made custom keychains for every table, and our kid-created basket was filled with art and gifts from Smile Oregon kids.

Thank you for showing up, bidding big, and believing in a community where kids’ voices, gifts, and leadership matter.
