Huge thank you to Kaiser Permanente for stepping up as a Premier Sponsor of the Healthcare Hub at CompassionCon 2026. Because of partners like Kaiser Permanente, thousands of neighbors this October will have access to resources and real conversations with healthcare professionals, all in one place, at no cost. Compassion is a verb, and Kaiser Permanente is showing us what it looks like to put that verb into practice for an entire community.
Save the date, October 25, and join us in thanking Kaiser Permanente in the comments.
Compassion is a verb. Use it. Be it. Do it.
Compassion in ordinary moments as summer continues, routines shift and families prepare for new seasons of work and learning. Compassion lives in these transitions.
Compassion reminds us that compassion becomes culture when our actions align with care. It shows up in how we speak and listen to one another, and how we respond to stress, change, and uncertainty.
Compassion asks us to slow down, notice suffering, and choose kindness even when no one is watching. It grows through patience, curiosity, and humility.
August invites reflection on how compassion is practiced at home, at school, at work, and in community. Small actions shape shared experience.
At Compassionate Atlanta, Compassion is a verb. Use it. Be it. Do it.

SAVE THE DATE! For our GA Life Sciences Patient Advocacy Forum! October 7, 2026. We need to fill the room with Advocates to have a robust discussion on how patients are experiencing health care in our state and what policy changes we need to improve affordability, expand access and prioritize patient’s needs.
The Forum is free, but you MUST register to attend!
The Patient Advocacy Forum serves as a vital connector within Georgia’s dynamic life sciences ecosystem—linking patients, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare innovators across the state. Rooted in Georgia’s diverse communities, the Forum ensures that local patient experiences, concerns, and perspectives directly shape the future of healthcare innovation, advocacy, and policy development.
By fostering a collaborative environment across Georgia—from Atlanta’s research corridors to rural health communities—the Forum empowers patients to not only be heard but to help drive meaningful, region-specific solutions. Through this initiative, Georgia becomes a model for how patient-centered progress can influence the broader life sciences landscape.

It is back to school time here in Georgia and we wish the kids a wonderful school year. We appreciate the teachers and administrators who guide our children and are part of the village it takes to raise a child. Learn kindness. Be friends. Learn well. You are our future, children. Thank you.
