Join us on Friday, May 29th from 6:30-9pm for an opening reception celebrating the second volume of HOME, a new exhibition which seeks to inspire conversation and consideration for the challenges we face as a community to ensure access to dignified housing options. This juried show features nearly 60 artworks from across the nation by both professional and student artists.
Presented in partnership with the Decatur Land Trust, Georgia Center for the Book at DCPL, and the Decatur branch of the Dekalb County Library System.

Decatur Land Trust’s Home Rehabilitation Program supports legacy residents and low-income homeowners with critical repairs so they can remain safe, stable, and in their community.
From fixing deferred maintenance to improving accessibility, this program helps preserve affordable homes and prevents displacement in a rapidly changing city.

The Decatur Arts Alliance and Decatur Land Trust are inviting artists of all mediums to submit work for HOME v.2: Homeland, a juried multimedia exhibition exploring the meaning of home.
Artists are encouraged to reflect on themes of identity, culture, origin, and belonging from immigrant and diaspora experiences to honoring indigenous lands. Selected works will be featured at the Decatur Library Gallery from May 29 – July 17, 2026, with cash awards up to $1,000.
Submission Deadline: March 29, 2026
