That’s right! The kiddos dismiss early this Friday. The winter break begins. Teachers, congratulations you made it! Parents, we’re on deck- Godspeed!

The PTO meeting was rescheduled from last Wednesday to this Wednesday. We’ll close up the semester from 6-7 pm in person at Talley and virtually (bit.ly/ptomeet)

💛 Supporting Ms. Mary 💛

Talley’s beloved custodian, Ms. Mary, needs our community’s love and support. Her mom passed away Wednesday night, and just two days before, her sister died unexpectedly.

Ms. Mary is such a caring presence at our school — always looking out for our kids and keeping Talley shining. Now it’s our turn to wrap our collective arms around her and her granddaughters during this heartbreaking time.

If you or your students would like to make cards for her, we’re collecting them in the Talley lobby.

If you’d like to help financially, you can Venmo -hinek — I’ll pool the funds and make sure Ms. Mary receives the cash before the break.

Crossing Guard Appreciation Week is this week — November 10 – 14! 🚸

Bingo cards are in, and we’ve loved seeing how active our readers were! From creative art and thoughtful book lists to unique free-square ideas — your kids blew us away. We’ve shared some of their amazing ideas below so everyone can be inspired!

If your student forgot to turn in their card Friday, please email a photo to [email protected] ASAP to be counted.

We’re just over halfway to our Reading Rally fundraising goal — and every pledge counts! Donations and pledges will be accepted through midnight Monday, so spread the word to family and friends.

🏆 Individual and class winners will be announced at school Monday and shared publicly once we have parent/guardian permission.
