🎶 Plus, catch two PERFORMANCES on the Square! From 5-5:45, master storyteller, Josie Bailey, will transport you through fables, folktales, historic stories and more. And from 7-9pm, you can jam with one of the south’s hottest up-and-coming funk bands! Blue Talk oozes mojo reminiscent of the late greats of the 1970s mixed with infectious grooves that are undeniably their own.

The 36th annual Fine Arts Exhibition will be on view in the Fourth Floor Gallery of the Decatur Library. This year's theme, "Cat & Mouse," is a playful way to illustrate a certain type of power struggle. This game of constant pursuit, capture, and escape is a trope of fables, fiction, movies, and cartoons. Will one win over the other, or are the combatants locked in a never-ending game where the upper hand is gained, but eventually lost? Come view the nearly 60 artworks on display from across the United States!

Join the party on Tues, March 25 from 5:30-7:30 to celebrate the unveiling of the 2025 Decatur Arts Festival poster!

This year's gorgeous poster art is by local artist , who will be at the event signing FREE copies of the poster for attendees to take home. The unveiling party will take place at with hand-crafted cocktails, and light bites will be provided by !

Catlanta's signature artistic style is renowned around town and he often leaves one-of-a-kind creations for folks to find as part of "Free Art Friday." He is also one of the studio artists currently working out of the Hyatt Cottage in Legacy Park, a newly launched multi-use building that houses a flex gallery/performance space, artist studios, and intergenerational art classes.
