In this small group session:
- Hitter's will be provided video analysis
- Each hitter will be assigned 3-4 prescribed drills, which are unique to their own developmental plan
- Technology will be used to benchmark four key metrics which are critical to power and reducing swing & misses
- An opportunity to be reassessed will be offered individually to each player/parent

Lil Ripper Camps

Players are divided into two separate groups based on age and skill level.
All of our camps sessions are led by current or former college players and high school coaches! Sincere time will be dedicated to baseball skill development, both hitting and defense. Our training staff will also lead campers through other activities to further develop their gross motor skills. Sport skills need to be challenged; let us encourage your camper to demonstrate and use agility, balance and coordination during our all-skills sessions which incorporate FUN into motor learning.

Rip City is excited to offer opportunities to train with former pro catcher, Jason Bour! A high school standout, Bour played collegiately for Hampden-Sydney and then George Mason University before being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds and finishing his career with the Chicago White Sox.

Coach Bour will lead a four week pro style catcher camp series that will be challenging for intermediate to advanced players. Several advanced skills and drills will be introduced and mastered by each camper over the course of the four week camp. He will also teach the mental aspects of the game from pitch calling to working with pitchers and managing games.

Rip City Hitting Academy includes weekly instruction in a small group environment led by a Senior instructor. Each week includes an advanced training modality including Blast Motion, Trackman, Video Analysis, or use of high velocity or slider + curve ball machines.
Through the use of video, combined with technology, the Advanced Skills Training helps improve swing flaws and identifies corrective plans through player specific drill series. Each player is provided their own unique & personal training plan to prepare for their season.

Coach Rosales will lead a small group through a collegiate style program that will be challenging for intermediate to advanced players. Rip City Hitting Camp! Join former MLB first baseman Justin Bour and former MILB catcher Jason Bour for their 3rd Annual Holiday Hitting Camp! Camp will mimic a typical routine by college and pro hitters. There will be video analysis to provide immediate feedback as well.

Coach Arguello pitched in the qualifiers for the World Baseball Classic and for the Nicaraguan National Team. He was also drafted & played professionally for the Astros. In recent years, Arguello has served as the head pitching coach for Freedom High School.

Jason Bour was a D1 catcher before being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds and finishing his career with the Chicago White Sox. Coach Rosales who was an All-State catcher & his accolades followed him throughout his D1 catching career where he was named to the First Team All North East Conference; he currently coaches and trains teams in Northern VA.

Rip City is pleased to host the Infield Academy's 5th year of Winter training! Another year of development, competition, and fun led by Coach Wrighte and a team of elite infield coaches to help your son maximize their infield development.

Camps - The Infield Academy Have a look at our upcoming camps and training dates.

Rip City is excited to offer small group training opportunities to train with former pro player, Jason Bour! A high school standout, Bour played collegiately for Hampden-Sydney and then George Mason University before being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds and finishing his career with the Chicago White Sox. (Mondays or Tuesdays).

Our Wednesday sessions will be led by Coach George Rosales who was a standout All-Region and All-State catcher in high school. His accolades followed him throughout his D1 catching career where he was named to the First Team All North East Conference!

They will lead a four week pro style catcher camp series that will be challenging for intermediate to advanced players. Several advanced skills and drills will be introduced and mastered by each camper over the course of the four week camp. The mental aspects of the game from pitch calling to working with pitchers and managing games will also be a key part of instruction, particularly for older players.
