The Bargain Box Del Rio

$3520 has been awarded to our local AgriLife Extension Agency to fund adult programs including Walk Across Texas and Si Yo Puedo Contolar Mi Diabetes. The money will also be used for other programs that focus on heart health and healthy aging including a new yoga program.

This money was generated through your donations of gently used items that were sold at The Bargain Box.

We are excited to announce yet another grant recipient and how they plan to use the money your donations of gently used items to The Bargain Box have made possible!

The Val Verde Health & Wellness Grant Program awarded $7000 to our local foster care program: SJRC.
St. Jude Ranch for Children requested money specifically for the family resource center to purchase supplies for family enrichment, child welfare support, and community wellness projects.

The Bargain Box accepts anything that is not stained, broken, or torn that could be resold with the proceeds going back into our community in a multitude of ways.

What do you have in your closets, cabinets, and garage that you no longer need or want? Donations accepted 9-1pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
