The Del Rio Police Officer’s Association would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of former Del Rio Police Department Captain William “Bill” Rattay. Captain Rattay dedicated many years of service to this community and to the Del Rio Police Department. His selfless service to our community will always be remembered and we offer our prayers to the Rattay Family during this difficult time.

Congratulations to the 2024a Del Rio Police Academy class. We look forward to watching you grow into the next generation of officers. Thank you to the families and friends of the newly appointed officers for their continued support.

It's with a heavy heart that we offer our condolences to the Bullard family. Chief Bullard was an excellent man and cared about the people of Del Rio during
his time as the Chief of Police. He will be missed.

We pray for Uvalde as this week ends the worst week in our sister city's history.

We want to congratulate Del Rio Police Academy 2021a for their dedication to their training and their commitment to protecting their prospective communities. We hope to see them on the streets in the upcoming weeks and wish them the best as they begin their law enforcement journey!
