Catholic Charities Nurturing Families was honored to participate in a community Car Seat Giveaway hosted by Precinct 3 Commissioner Fernando Garcia in partnership with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians were on-site to ensure car seats were properly installed and to provide parents with important child passenger safety education.
We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with community partners dedicated to supporting families and promoting the safety and well-being of children throughout our community.

Celebrating 4 years of serving the Del Rio community! š
For the past four years, we have been honored to walk alongside individuals and families through every season of life. Whether itās providing food assistance, counseling services, legal support, parenting resources, senior programs, or access to everyday essentials through our Clothes Closet, our mission has remained focused on supporting those who need it most.
Through every program, partnership, and helping hand, we continue working to create opportunities for hope, stability, and support throughout the community.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey and helped make this impact possible. We look forward to continuing this mission for many more years to come!

Today, we pause to remember the 21 lives lost in Uvaldeāchildren and teachers whose futures were taken far too soon.
We hold their families, friends, and the entire Uvalde community in our thoughts as they continue to carry unimaginable grief and strength.
Catholic Charities remains committed to standing with the Uvalde community, offering support, presence, and care in times of remembrance and healing.

Happy Mother's Day! š
āHonor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.ā
-Proverbs 31:31
Today, we celebrate the strength, love, and resilience of mothers everywhere.
At the heart of our work are the mothers we serveāwomen who show up each day with courage, care, and a deep commitment to their children. Their love shapes families, strengthens communities, and inspires all of us.
Happy Motherās Day to all the incredible mothers in our community!
