**Part 2

Yesterday we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they promoted to middle school! We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Chestnut Grove Elementary. Watching them grow, learn, and lead has been such a joy.
While we will miss seeing their smiling faces in our halls each day, we know they are ready for this next chapter and will continue to do great things. Congratulations, 5th graders! We canโ€™t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds.

Our Chestnut Grove Track Team made us so proud by placing 2nd overall in the DCS Track Meet!

These students worked hard, showing dedication, determination, teamwork, and great sportsmanship every step of the way.
We are so proud of each and every athlete and thankful for the coaches, families, and supporters who encouraged them along the way. Congratulations on an amazing season and a job well done, Black Bears!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for purchasing a book vending machine for our school!

Our PTO has worked incredibly hard this year and has given so much to our students, staff, and school community. We are so thankful for this special gift that will bring excitement, encouragement, and joy to our students for many years to come.

Be sure to watch the video to hear a special message from our PTO, see some of our studentsโ€™ reactions as they saw the book vending machine for the very first time, and celebrate our million word reader as he receives the very first book from the machine!
