Unfortunately, HVAC repairs will not be completed in time for school tomorrow. As a result, the school will remain closed on Wednesday, May 20, with the exception of our Grades 3–5 Awards Day Celebrations (a schedule will be shared soon). 🏆🎉

🚌 Please note that bus transportation will be available for magnet students only.
💊 Our school nurse will also be available for medication pickup tomorrow and Thursday morning from 8:00–11:30 a.m.

🏎️ Our JHES crew hit the track at the Greenpower Goblin National Championship at the Talladega Speedway on Saturday!

They competed against 60 teams from 4 states and made us so proud with their hard work this season! ❤️💙🏁

🧵📚 Our March Madness reading champions got a hands-on reward with Ms. Lindsey!

Four students earned the opportunity to learn how to sew and create their very own Squishmallow-inspired plushies! From learning the basics of using a sewing machine to stuffing and designing their creations, these students showed creativity, patience, and determination every step of the way.

We love celebrating reading success with fun, memorable experiences that help students learn new skills and build confidence.
