🍔🌭 Faculty Cookout Fun! 🌭🍔

Our Benjamin Davis faculty enjoyed a wonderful duty-free lunch thanks to our amazing Partners in Education River Bank & Trust! 💙💛

Mrs. Payne and Mrs. King had the privilege of being with the students during lunch today, and Miss Kamzie Fletcher received the BUG award! She displayed wonderful behavior in the lunch room and was so patient and kind to her classmates!

We are sending a big happy birthday to Caiylee! Thank you for celebrating with the DCMS PTO spirit rock!

Congratulations to Emersyn, Alaina, Branon, Harper, and Avery for receiving the BUG award. These students come in ready to learn and lead everyday at Benjamin Davis. We are so proud of them!

⚫️🟠🐻Sights from our AHS Pep Rally this morning. Our students had a BLAST cheering, dancing, and taking it all in! 🐻🟠⚫️

Austin & Decatur both have Thursday games this week. Due to their schedule we will be selling tattoos tomorrow, Oct. 1! Show your school pride with an Austin or Decatur tattoo!

🌎🎉 Hispanic Heritage Celebration! 🎉🌎

Today we celebrated the rich cultures, traditions, and heritage of Hispanic and Latino communities!

Our students enjoyed a Parade of Nations, proudly showcasing countries and cultures from across the Hispanic world. The celebration continued with piñata fun in PE 🪅 and a special assembly where students came together to learn, celebrate, and appreciate the traditions that make our world so wonderfully diverse.

We loved seeing our students learn beyond the classroom and celebrate the many cultures that make our school community so special!

🍎🍏Apple Day & Icy Does It!🍧🍧
What a fun day full of apple tastings and sweet treats for our students. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day successful!

🌟 BUG Award Celebration! 🌟

Congratulations to three of our amazing Benjamin Davis Bulldogs for earning the BUG Award and choosing a brand-new book from our Book Vending Machine! 📚💙💛

These students have been recognized for Being Unusually Good by showing outstanding behavior, kindness, responsibility, and leadership in their classrooms. We are so proud of the positive choices they make each day.

Keep up the great work, Bulldogs! 🐾

Technology classes were introduced to Vex123 this week! They have enjoyed putting their knowledge of an algorithm to work while coding Vex.
