Wrap Around Foster Care Support in Sangamon County.
The James Project consists of three main ministries: Call 1:27, James Place, and Closet 1:27
Call 1:27 recruits, educates and supports those desiring to become foster or adoptive parents and those who are already following that call. James Place is a home that takes in foster children providing them with a long term, Christ-centered home environment as long as needed until they return home or are adopted. Closet 1:27 fills the need many foster children have when coming into care and not having the necessities and clothing needed. We provide clothing, toiletries, and baby items/furniture to those coming into care or transitioning to a new home.

We have a foster family in need of a side-by-side stroller (or something similar to the picture below). If you have one you’re no longer using and would be willing to donate it to a foster family, we’d love to hear from you! 🫶

MEET PAM TAYLOR 💙
Pam’s work with foster and adoptive families began with her own family’s adoption journey.
For more than a decade, she has walked alongside families navigating trauma, attachment, healing and the realities of parenting children from hard places.
Pam is the Co-Founder and CEO of Watch Me Rise and a TBRI Practitioner, Making Sense of Your Worth Facilitator, Educational Therapist, Life Coach, mental health coach and more.
But this isn’t simply professional for Pam.
She’s an adoptive mom. She’s lived it too.
Pam will join us for our Foster Parent Support Group thru Zoom beginning September 17.
