First Try Sessions

We have been very busy this year! Currently First Try Sessions is working to file our 591(c)3 to become an official charitable organization so we can continue growing and providing our students with access to music! As we await this change, we will be on a temporary pause for any new developments. That said, we will continue to support our students and teachers and we encourage you to do the same! Last month First Try Sessions was able to participate Springfield Art Association’s annual Paint the Street event- it was a total blast! We’d like to thank Ellinger-Kunz & Parks Funeral Homes for gifting us our square. It was awesome to see Springfield come together to create something so cool! 🤘🎸❤️

We had a blast at the Fa**ss 5K last weekend! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and participated! We were so grateful to be able to have our booth set up and to have one of our students preform.

The Fa**ss 5K is this Saturday in Downtown Springfield! First Try Sessions will have a booth with live music throughout the race, so come say hello! We will be accepting donations to help give kids access to musical instruments and lessons 🎸🎶

We were recently able to arrange a long-distance giveaway to a new bass student in southern Illinois! Sign up any kid age 7-17 and we will find a way to get them rockin’! 🎸🎶 Firsttrysessions.com
