No one fights alone! The Think Pink Gala is a fundraising event supporting Clark County OH residents. No one fights alone.

The Think Pink Gala is a fundraising event supporting Clark County residents and their battles with breast cancer. Inspired by her own battle with breast cancer, Leigh Anne Lawrence founded the Think Pink Gala to help eliminate barriers to breast cancer prevention and treatment. With support from the Mercy Health Foundation, funds raised from the gala are distributed to the Springfield Cancer Cent

πŸ’— Think Pink Foundation Check Presentation Day πŸ’—

Today is one of our favorite days of the year, the day we get to put your generosity into action and support the incredible organizations caring for women in our community. Because of YOU, the Think Pink movement continues to make a real difference. πŸŽ€

Here’s where this year’s support is going:

πŸ’— $4,500 to the Breast Wishes Foundation
πŸ’— $4,500 to the Clark County Breast Cancer Endowment Fund
πŸ’— $7,200 to Mercy Health - Springfield for the Pink Honor Walk
πŸ’— $2,000 in Kroger gift cards to support patients at the Springfield Cancer Center

πŸŽ€ Bags of Hope were also delivered to the Springfield Cancer Center, Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital, and the Urbana Cancer Center.

These bags provide comfort items and encouragement for women going through treatment. The bags are replenished throughout the year so they are always available for patients when they need them most. πŸ’•

Every dollar raised, every sponsor, every attendee, and every supporter helps us continue our mission to Support. Advocate. Empower. πŸ’—

Thank you for believing in this movement and helping us lift up women and families across Clark County.

March is Triple Negative Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🩷

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive and fast-growing subtype of breast cancer that tests negative for estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors, and HER2 β€” which means many common targeted treatments are not effective.

Here are a few important facts:

β€’ TNBC accounts for about 10–15% of all breast cancer diagnoses
β€’ It is more common in women under 40
β€’ It disproportionately affects Black women and those with BRCA1 gene mutations
β€’ TNBC tends to grow and spread faster than other types of breast cancer

Supporting those affected means showing up through encouragement, sharing resources, advocating for research, and helping ensure access to care for everyone who needs it. 🩷

We are proud to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign & Logan Counties to provide food vouchers to women at the cancer center who may need a little extra support during treatment. πŸ’•

These vouchers allow women to pick up PINK πŸ›οΈπŸ‘›bags filled with essential, comforting items. Including rice, soup, crackers, fruit juice, and oatmeal, simple foods that can make a hard day a little easier. πŸ₯£πŸšπŸ§ƒ

πŸ‘›Tucked inside each Think Pink Foundation Bag of Hope is a message of encouragement, a prayer for strength, and simple information on how to connect with the Think Pink Foundation and find supportπŸ’—

We created this card to meet women right where they are, often in a moment that feels overwhelming and full of unknowns.
