Our Shelters are currently very full, and we are in need of meals to be donated. If you or your service group can provide dinner for approximately 30 women and 20 children, we would love to partner with you. Contact us at 217-753-3939 for more information.

The Episcopal Church, established in 1789, is the American expression of Anglican Christianity. The Diocese of Springfield (Episcopal Church) is one of 110 dioceses that mutually support one another in a common doctrine, discipline, and worship. We are grateful to the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield for the support they provide to Contact Ministries in serving families in need in our community.

Though the temperatures are high, it is not too early to plan for frigid weather ahead. Two Men and a Truck Springfield IL is holding a winter clothing drive benefitting Contact Ministries. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 3, and help them stuff their truck for local families in need.

Personal Hygiene Items Needed

Contact Ministries provides personal hygiene kits to those in need that contain toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, and feminine products. Donations of travel or full size hygiene items can be dropped off at our facility at 1100 East Adams St, Springfield, from 9am-1pm on Monday through Thursday. Thank you for helping us serve our local community.

On this day, the 25th Anniversary of 9-11, we pray for the innocent lives lost, honor the courage of our first responders, and lift the spirits of families who still grieve.

Calvary Church is comprised of a diverse group of followers of Jesus Christ that come from different cultural and social backgrounds. Their mission is to compel every person in central Illinois to seriously consider the claims of Christ and to support ministries around the world that do the same.

Contact Ministries is grateful to have the support of Calvary Church. We are blessed with their continued contributions that help the women and children served in our shelters.

Every evening - 7 days a week - Contact Ministries serves dinner to approximately 30 adult women and 20 children staying in our emergency shelter. We welcome members of our community to donate a catered or homemade meal to our residents, especially during the winter months ahead.
