The Solarium/Community Center of South Decatur proudly presents the Oakhurst Jazz Nights 2026 Spring Concert Series!

Note: There will be no concert on Thursday, April 2nd, as The Solarium is hosting the City Schools of Decatur Art Show that evening.

Now in its 22nd year, Oakhurst Jazz Nights is a free, outdoor, picnic-style concert with blankets or low chairs (no high back chairs) on the Solarium lawn from 7 to 9 pm. Bring your own dining treats or purchase food and drinks from local businesses in the Oakhurst Village.

A limited number of tables and chairs are available for rent by emailing [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to the event start time.

We have availablity in February and would love for you to host your event with us!! Please reach out to learn about our off season discount.

This fun event is happening at The Elizabeth Wilson Community House this weekend!

Hey friends-tonight is the night! If you are free we would love to see you at the solarium between 6-8pm for our Public Service to Public Power masquerade! If you are a fired or furloughed federal employee, please come for FREE! Live music, food, drinks and takeaways from other fired feds who are trying to navigate this new professional reality!

Are you looking for the perfect spot to host a small event? The Elizabeth Wilson Community House is a wonderful choice! The space can fit 45 guests and includes chairs and tables for a fee of $100/hr. Contact us for more information!

The Community Center of South Decatur (CCSD) grant program is now OPEN! The board welcomes applications from organizations that contribute to the quality of life in the City of Decatur. The grants are funded by CCSD & Solarium fundraising events held throughout the year.

OAKHURST JAZZ NIGHTS ARE BACK!

Tonight is the first night of the Oakhurst Jazz Nights Fall Series. Join us every Thursday night at The Solarium at Historic Scottish Rite lawn in September for FREE picnic-style concerts from 7PM to 9PM.

Tonight's concert features Gwen Hughes.

Table Reservations $25 for bistro table and 4 chairs are available by emailing [email protected]. Lawn chairs are not allowed. Please bring food and drink from our local area vendors. Concerts are rain or shine (we move the party indoors during inclement weather).
