She graduated with a 4.0 GPA while experiencing homelessness.

This spring, Rhonda Kay Sims-Thomas earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Clayton State University while completing an internship with the Clayton County District Attorney's Office and navigating housing insecurity.

Now, she's been accepted into Georgia State University's master's program and is preparing for the LSAT as she pursues her dream of becoming the first attorney in her family.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that circumstances do not determine your future.
