Career and Technical Education We offer 14 programs for high school students as well as Adult Education and distance learning through VTVLC.
River ValleyTechnical Center provides a hands-on, career oriented approach to education emphasizing 3 areas: academics, technical skills and employability skills. Our programs include: Audio and Video Production, Business and Finance, Carpentry, Culinary Arts, Hands On Computers, Health Careers, Horticulture and Natural Resources, Hospitality and Receration, Human Services, Industrial Trades, Law Enforcement, Mechanical Design and Innovation, Tech Essentails and Pre-Technical Studies.

The afternoon RVTC Cardboard Boat Races did not disappoint! Health Sciences took home the win (2 years in a row!) and PreTech earned the Titanic Award! 🏆🚢🐐

Registration is now open for RVTC’s 2026–2027 Adult Advanced Manufacturing Training!
Choose from four hands-on sessions covering manufacturing processes and blueprint reading, SolidWorks CAD, CNC machining, and CAM with Mastercam.
Classes meet from 7:45–9:45 AM. Participants may be eligible for partial or full funding.
