Elm Hill students and staff enjoyed their first All School Meeting of the year! Mrs. Kurpiel's first graders presented on the lifecycle of butterflies.

Our students had the amazing opportunity to release monarch butterflies and witness the beauty of their journey firsthand! It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that connected our students to nature, science, and the importance of caring for our environment.

The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming!

Get ready for a week full of books, reading, and fun! Students will have the opportunity to shop the Book Fair during their library class, and families can also shop during the Elm Hill Open House on Thursday, September 17 from 5:00–6:30 PM.

Every purchase helps support our school library!

That was the overall sentiment this week when Domino's Pizza in the plaza surprised the hard-working staff and students at Union Street School with 100 donated pizzas! As you can see, this crew had no problem saying CHEESE and PLEASE to a pop-up pizza day!

Moments like these are real examples of what make a community feel like a community. When a business does something like this for our schools they aren't just providing a meal. They are showing our team and our students that their community is behind them, cheering them on and is willing to show up in meaningful ways.

We are so grateful for the pizzas, the kindness and the resulting full bellies and happy hearts that filled our hallways.

In Miss. Reilly’s Kindergarten they have been working on their fine motor skills and completing their School Supply Bootcamp! They have been using glue, scissors, and more to complete their construction paper portraits! These skills will help them later with lots of fun activities to come!
