Last year, our amazing community stepped up and helped us provide over 100 sleeping bags, 75 tents, and countless hygiene items to people leaving emergency motel housing.

This July, more households will be transitioning out of the motel program, and we need your help again.

The Springfield Supported Housing Program (SSHP) is officially recruiting an AmeriCorps VISTA Member for the 2026–2027 cycle! If you are passionate about social change, have strong communication skills, and want to advocate for housing equity, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do:

Build lasting partnerships with community organizations

Create outreach materials & engage with donors

Connect with local landlords & community resources

Help fight homelessness at its roots
