ADULT SOCIAL DAY PROGRAM LAUNCHES OCT 7!

As you may have heard, Neighborhood Connections will be operating a social-model Adult Day program for seniors every Wednesday beginning Oct 7, from 8:30-2:30 pm at our offices in the Mountain Marketplace, Routes 11 & 100, Londonderry.

To introduce you to the details of this program, we would like to invite you to an all-day drop-in open house to speak with staff and see our facility on Wednesday Sept 30, any time from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Please feel free to contact us at (802) 824-4343 with any questions or to request a Program FactSheet. The program director is Lois Schram Osnow, LICSW and gerontologist, and she will be best able to respond to inquiries.

This Thursday (9/17) our friends at the Calvary Baptist Church will be hosting a free community dinner! Join them for an evening of food and conversation!

This coming Friday, September 18th, from 1:00-4:00 PM.... The Neighbors Pantry is open on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 1:00-4:00 PM. See the post below for the list of towns whose residents we are pleased to serve.

September 11 — Remembering, Reflecting, and Coming Together
On September 11, we remember the lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, and the courage of the countless people who stepped forward to help in a time of unimaginable need.
Today also reminds us of the strength that comes when we stand together as a community. We may not always agree. We may come from different backgrounds, hold different beliefs, or see the world differently—but when our neighbors need help, we can set those differences aside and come together with compassion and purpose.
Our community food shelf is grateful every day for the people who make it possible to support our neighbors facing difficult times. To every volunteer who gives their time, every donor who shares what they can, every organization that lends a hand, and every person who quietly works behind the scenes to make a difference—thank you.
Your kindness reminds us that we are stronger when we look out for one another.
On this September 11, let us remember not only what we lost, but also what we found in those difficult days: compassion, courage, generosity, and the strength of community.
May we continue to put our differences aside, help our neighbors, and be there for those in need—not just today, but every day. ❤️🇺🇸
