Proud department shoutout!! Driver/Engineer Davis and his wife, Amanda, opened their beautiful property this weekend for the second annual Special Needs Fishing Rodeo. It was an amazing event full of laughter, love, food, prizes, and tons of fish caught. Thank you to everyone involved for making this such a wonderful event for the special needs community

Yesterday afternoon at 3:26 pm DFR crews responded to a report of a business fire in the 1100 block of 6th Ave. Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke conditions. Crews made entry and determined there was no one in the building and quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is undetermined. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family!!

Please avoid the 1100 block of 6th Ave as DFR crews are working a business fire at this time!!
