It is with deep sadness that I share with you the passing of my dear Dad.
The Café will be closed from May 18th through June 3rd. Reopening for Lunch June 4th.

This weekend:
Appetizer: salmon and smoked salmon Tartare.
Entree: rabbit leg braised in a.grainef mustard cream sauce with mushrooms. Served over spaetzle.
Dessert: Grand Marnier frozen mousse served with a macaroni.

Love, sunshine and good vibes brought Dad back on his feet.

Wisteria, lilac and tulips in full bloom.

At one point, Dad said he had up to 1000 tulips in his garden.
I was so lucky to see the remaining ones bloom this spring 🌷🌷🌷

Thank you all for letting me slip away and care for my elderly Dad.
We are all embracing every moment and feeling privileged for the love we have for each other.
Caring for others means caring for yourself too.

Savory blue cheese tiramisu: layers of olive bread/caramelized balsamic onions/blue cheese mascarpone.
Entree:
Bronzino filler sauteed in olive oil. Served with saffron mashed potatoes and green beans
Dessert:
Lemon Panna Cotta topped with rhubarb compote and strawberries
