Austin Black Bears Drama took on New York City! From experiencing world-class theatre to exploring some of the most iconic sights in the world, our students had the opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired by the magic of live performance.
We're so proud of these talented students for representing our program so well and embracing every moment of this incredible adventure. The future of theatre is bright, and this trip reminded us just how powerful the arts can be.

**CLARIFICATION: Students participating in summer school will be served first. Meals will be offered to the community as long as supplies are still available.**

FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR KIDS AND TEENS: Decatur City Schools is proud to host the Summer Meal Program! Free healthy meals are available to any child 18 years old and younger living in Decatur and Morgan County. No registration or sign-ups are required.

📅 Days: Monday through Thursday

⏰ Daily Meal Times:
Breakfast: 7:40 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Important Program Guidelines:
Dine-In Only: All meals must be eaten on-site.
Child Presence: The child must be physically present at the site to receive a meal.

The Decatur Public Library has lots of great activities for kids this summer. We encourage our kids to keep reading all summer long, so go visit the public library and check out some great books to read.
