**CLARIFICATION: Students participating in summer school will be served first. Meals will be offered to the community as long as supplies are still available.**

FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR KIDS AND TEENS: Decatur City Schools is proud to host the Summer Meal Program! Free healthy meals are available to any child 18 years old and younger living in Decatur and Morgan County. No registration or sign-ups are required.

📅 Days: Monday through Thursday

⏰ Daily Meal Times:
Breakfast: 7:40 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Important Program Guidelines:
Dine-In Only: All meals must be eaten on-site.
Child Presence: The child must be physically present at the site to receive a meal.

A Message From Dr. Hanson:

As the school year comes to an end, Ms. Thompson and I want to take a moment to simply say thank you! Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, believing in us, and most importantly, for allowing us the privilege of helping shape decisions that affect your student’s future. Please know that your child is deeply valued. Their smiles, personalities, energy, and hearts helped make our school a truly special place.

As we head into the summer, we hope your family takes time to rest, laugh, make memories, and enjoy one another. While the faculty will take a short break, Ms. Thompson and I will be working hard this summer to make Woodmeade an even better place for our students and families.

To all of our 5th graders, we wish you the very best as you begin your next chapter. Continue to do great things, believe in yourselves, and never stop striving for success. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish! 🐾

Congratulations to Malakai and Emerik! They are being recognized as National Math Stars for scoring among the top 2% in math on the ACAP exam last year. This nomination gives them an opportunity to join a 10 year journey of advanced math learning, mentoring, and community through the Pathfinder/Voyager program. We are so proud of you both!!
