Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) met with the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) to discuss efforts to combat online s*xual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) and child s*xual abuse and exploitation materials (CSAEM).CRC

Attorneys Jewel Dela Cruz and Dariane Odon met with AMLC Executive Director Atty. Ronel Buenaventura. During the meeting, CRC provided an overview of its work and its efforts alongside global stakeholders, including financial institutions, to combat OSAEC and CSAEM. The meeting provided an opportunity for CRC and AMLC to engage in meaningful discussions on areas of mutual interest in addressing online s*xual abuse and exploitation of children. CRC thanks AMLC for the opportunity to meet and discuss efforts to address OSAEC and CSAEM.

Breaking News from Capitol Hill 📣

A huge step forward in protecting children online.

The SAFE Cloud Storage Act has passed the U.S. House of Representatives with bipartisan support, creating liability protections for trusted vendors that help federal, state, and local law enforcement securely store, maintain, and process CSAM used as evidence in online child exploitation investigations.

By enabling secure, cloud-based storage of this critical evidence, the bill helps modernize these investigations, allowing investigators to move cases forward faster, identify victims sooner, and pursue offenders while maintaining strong cybersecurity and evidence-storage safeguards.

At Child Rescue Coalition, we know technology is essential to modern investigations. With the right tools and secure infrastructure, investigators are better equipped to turn digital evidence into action.

We’re deeply grateful to Congresswoman Laurel Lee (R-FL) and Rep. Madeleine Dean(D-PA) for introducing this bill and leading the effort to get it across the finish line in the House, as well as Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and RAVEN.

Another investigation. Another reminder of why this work cannot wait.

According to the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, Carson Dean Barry was arrested after an investigation into allegations that he solicited a minor for s*x and possessed files containing child s*xual abuse material (CSAM). The investigation began following a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

Authorities allege they also recovered devices from Barry’s home and found a video depicting the s*xual assault of a toddler.

These allegations are deeply disturbing, but they also underscore why law enforcement needs the right tools, technology, and training to find offenders and uncover evidence of abuse.

Until children are safe from s*xual exploitation and abuse, the work continues. We stand with the investigators on the front lines, and with every child who deserves protection.

Celebrating the people behind the mission.

Today, on National IT Professionals Day, we’re celebrating Roberto M., Senior Software Developer at Child Rescue Coalition, and someone who has been part of this mission for more than 13 years.

Through more than a decade of change and innovation, his dedication to building technology that helps protect children has remained constant.

When asked why he’s passionate about CRC’s mission, Roberto shared:

“As a father, I believe all children should grow up safe, loved, and fearless. They will shape humanity’s future based on our example.”

Protecting children online requires more than awareness. It requires specialized training, collaboration, and the right tools to help investigators identify offenders and build stronger cases.

In Brazil, Child Rescue Coalition partnered with the Federal Police to train 33 officers from 15 states in investigating child s*xual abuse crimes on Peer-to-Peer networks. Through five days of hands-on instruction and practical exercises, officers strengthened their skills in identifying, monitoring, and collecting digital evidence.

Every trained investigator represents greater capacity to protect children in an increasingly connected world.

Meet Diana Jerman.

This November’s NYC Marathon means more to Diana than any race before it.

She discovered Child Rescue Coalition through Disney’s partner, GeoComply, and learned how CRC’s technology helps investigators identify and rescue children from abuse. When she learned that CRC’s tools have helped rescue thousands of children worldwide, and are provided to law enforcement completely free of charge, she knew she had found a cause worth running for.
