The Boca Raton Police Department has 217 officers and an annual budget of approximately $67 million.
The Boca Raton Police Foundation was established in 2012 by community leaders to support the public safety mission of the Boca Raton Police Services Department. But with over 96% of its budget devoted to personnel, vehicles, equipment and buildings, BRPD has little financial flexibility in an era in which the threats facing our community are growing and becoming more complex. The BRPF exists for one reason: to raise much-needed funds for the Boca Raton Police Department. Your dollars help our heroic men and women stay current with crime fighting strategies and innovative technology.
