With over 250 Austinites visiting our Community Kitchen daily, Austin Subaru's support assists families and individuals experiencing homelessness and supports the well-being of our entire community.

In addition to housing, Caritas of Austin is proud to help our clients find stable employment. Our Employment Program assists with resume building, interview preparation, vocational training, and job placement.

Every Austinite deserves the opportunity to earn a reliable, living wage. Our Employment Program provides the resources to ensure that all members of our community can pursue employment and build their well-being.

At Caritas of Austin, we're known for the hard work and dedication of all the volunteers who spend their time creating care kits, helping with community events, and serving meals in our Community Kitchen.

But did you know that we also offer internships? An internship with Caritas of Austin is a unique and meaningful way for students and professionals to gain hands-on experience while giving back to their community.

Caritas of Austin provides a variety of internships designed to fit each individual's interests and aspirations. Interns can provide direct service to clients or work in a wide variety of administrative roles from finance to marketing (they might even write social media posts)!

We ❤️ our volunteers! On Tuesday, Caritas of Austin threw a party to show appreciation for all our incredible volunteers.

We would not be able to end homelessness without the generous support of the individuals and groups who gift us their time and energy, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions.

With the increased temperatures, our unhoused neighbors are in desperate need of Hygiene, Snack, and Beat the Heat Packs to stay cool and safe. This week, hundreds of our unhoused community members asked for these kits at our front desk, and we are completely out.

We need YOUR help to provide our unhoused neighbors with healthy food, hygiene basics, and resources to stay cool and hydrated. Would you be able to donate one or more of these Care Kits to help our neighbors stay safe and cool in this heat?

This June, join Caritas of Austin and Austin Subaru's ambassadog Rally in giving back to our community!

As World Refugee Day draws nearer, we have been reflecting on the immense courage and resilience displayed by refugees. Travelling thousands of miles and immersing yourself in a new country and culture in pursuit of a better life is a tremendous act of strength and hope.
