☀️🏐 Chair volleyball weather is officially here!

Our residents took the game outside and soaked up the sunshine while enjoying some friendly competition, laughter, and lots of fun. 🌞💙

We took a trip to Japan without ever leaving home! 🇯🇵✨

As part of our goal to diversify the activities and experiences we offer, we love introducing residents to new cultures, places, traditions, and foods they may have never had the chance to explore before. Our Japanese Travelogue was filled with learning, conversation, and delicious bites and drinks inspired by Japan.

We also had the privilege to hear from one of our very own residents who is originally from Japan. She proudly showed us many meaningful keepsakes from her home country, making the experience even more personal and heartfelt for everyone. ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a fun afternoon of making new connections at our “Speed Friendship” Social! 💬✨

Residents were seated by the number they drew and they got to know each other through a variety of prompted questions — some heartfelt, some hilarious, and all great conversation starters!

Between the laughs, stories, drinks, and snacks, new friendships were formed and familiar faces became even closer. It was wonderful to see everyone connecting, sharing memories, and enjoying each other’s company! ❤️

On Friday we celebrated spring in the sweetest and most colorful way with our Spring Color Party! 🌈☀️

Residents enjoyed delicious sherbet punch and rainbow colored treats. The fun continued with exciting door prizes and a lively game of “Roll a Rainbow!”

It was a bright, cheerful day full of smiles, friendship, and springtime fun! 💛

Saturday adventures at the Trout Museum of Art ☀️🎨☕

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful morning soaking up the sunshine during a bus trip last Saturday to the Trout Museum of Art. From inspiring artwork to delicious coffee drinks and great conversation, it was a perfect morning. We love making memories together while exploring all the wonderful experiences our area has to offer!

🌸✨ Creativity is blooming during Mind, Body & Bloom Month! ✨🌸

Our residents have been embracing the beauty of nature by creating handmade greeting cards using pressed flowers. 🌼💌 This meaningful activity encouraged creativity, sparked memories, supported fine motor skills, and brought plenty of smiles along the way.

Each card is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, lovingly crafted and full of heart—just like the residents who made them. 💐❤️

It’s amazing to see how something as simple as flowers can inspire connection, creativity, and joy. 🌿

This month’s activity theme is all about wellness — mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being. 💛

Our residents participated in a hands-on workshop called “The Power of Positivity.” Together, they connected, encouraged one another, and explored ways to live each day with a more positive perspective. It was a wonderful time of meaningful conversation, laughter, and support!

During the workshop, we discussed 5 simple ways to develop the power of positivity:
✨ Replacing negative thoughts with positive ones
✨ Practicing gratitude
✨ Using positive affirmations and speaking kindly to yourself
✨ Surrounding yourself with positivity
✨ Practicing mindfulness and being fully present in the moment
