🐄🐰 Fair Animals, Big Personalities! 🎡

This past week our residents got a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a fair animal superstar! 🏆

We met a show cow and learned all about the grooming, prep, and practice that go into getting ready for the big day. Then, a local FFA member showed us how she grooms and presents her bunnies at the fair. 🐰✨

✨ Today is Senior Citizens Day! ✨

What better way to celebrate and recognize this incredible generation than by highlighting their talents, creativity, and hard work at today’s ARC Project Showcase!

From beautiful crafts and artwork to special projects and creative creations, our residents continue to remind us that talent, passion, and the joy of creating have no age limit.

We are so proud to celebrate the many talents that make our residents so special! A BIG thank you to all the displayers and to all who came to view their work. ♥️

What a fantastic turnout for Sebastian’s recent presentation on the history of fashion through the decades! 👗👔

Our residents enjoyed a packed house as Sebastian took us on a fascinating journey from the late 1700s all the way to the 2000s, showcasing how clothing, styles, and trends have changed over the years.

And the best part? Over 25 original outfits were brought along to help bring history to life!

A huge THANK YOU, Sebastian, for sharing your knowledge, passion, and incredible collection with us! We had a wonderful time learning, laughing, and seeing just how we got from then to now—one outfit at a time! ❤️👗✨

What another fun "County Fair Fun" week! One of the favorite activities of the week was the Apple and Cherry Pie social 🍒 🥧

Our residents took a trip down memory lane while making their very own jars of refrigerated dill pickles!

The activity was a perfect fit for our County Fair Fun theme, bringing back memories of the days when homemade pickles, canned goods, and garden produce could be proudly entered for judging at the county fair.

Our residents got creative by making their very own colorful pinwheels! 🎠✨ With bright colors, playful designs, and a little creativity, everyone created a festive craft that is sure to bring a smile.

These cheerful pinwheels are the perfect reminder that you’re never too old for a little magic and fun! 🎟️🎡💜

Kettle Corn Happy Hour!🍿

Residents enjoyed custom making their own sweet and salty treat with different seasonings and toppings while visiting with friends and reminiscing about the sights, sounds, and tastes of the county fair.🎡

We are continuing to have a blast this month with the "County Fair Fun" theme!

One of the biggest hits was the Rubber Chicken Finger Fling! 🐔 Residents had a flinging good time and laughed so much throughout the game😂

We’re bringing a little old-fashioned fun to Appleton Retirement Community with Horseshoe Toss! Residents enjoyed stepping up to the challenge, aiming for the stake, and seeing who could get the perfect toss. It was a great way to enjoy some fresh air, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles! ❤️
