Today we celebrated the men in our lives! We had a Fathers Day Lunch with BBQ beef sandwiches, pasta, baked beans, juice, soda and of course desserts! Tried to find Dads root beer, but settled for the root beer barrels. They were a hit!It was nice to have the families come out and celebrate their Dads. We also had a contest with oldest and youngest dads and most children (tie with 8 children each). Thanks to all who came out!

On Friday we had devotions in the morning and then had a member of Calvary Church come in the afternoon to do some bible study with us. It was also National Garfield Day..and, of course, Pat went all out as usual.

The last couple of days have been filled with music and laughter! Yesterday we were entertained by a a singer/guitar player who sang multiple genres of music. Today was National Fishing Day and although our "lake" was a little brown and murky it was still fun! Each "fish" caught was worth 5 points but there were a couple of lucky ones worth more. The person with the most points at the end was awarded a Snackel Box. This years winner was our very own Mac! Great job everybody!

Just a quick reminder for the Fathers Day celebration on Sunday. June 21st. RSVPs are due June 18th.

Today was a great day regardless of the bad weather. We held devotions in the morning and celebrated National Iced Tea Day with some refreshing Peach and Regular Tea on the porch. We love hanging out all together!

Fridays are for devotions and Silent Concerts! We had a great time with our buddy JJ this afternoon playing music bingo, singing, and maybe a little dancing. And, of course, winning prizes!!

Today we celebrated National Cheese Day with a cheese tasting. We sampled provolone, cheddar, muenster, swiss, pepper jack and a couple of different cheese curds. We also had a variety of Goldfish crackers (they say 100% cheese on the pack so it counts lol)! Delicious!

Today was a beautiful day!! Both buildings enjoyed spending time together outside where Bible Study was held this morning. This afternoon we enjoyed celebrating National Rocky Road Day with some ice cream!!

We had a special little visitor yesterday! The residents loved him so much that he came back today. His name is Maverick and he's 6 weeks old. Thank you Brenna for bringing him in!! We also celebrated all of our residents with May birthdays at lunch!
