We are home of the 2008 Olympic Bronze Medal Champion Alexander “Sasha” Artemev as well as 2021 Olympian Yul Moldauer! At 5280, we believe that whether our gymnasts want to try out for the Olympics, condition for another sport, or just enjoy a great workout, gymnastics teaches them strength and flexibility and most importantly discipline to be successful in whatever they do.

It's timee!! Our annual Carnival for a Cause is back on Sunday August 30th from 2-6 PM!
Every year, we come together to honor our founder, Jim Trammell, and support Blood Cancer United. Nine years after his passing from blood cancer, this event continues his legacy by raising funds for families facing the same battle. All proceeds benefit Blood Cancer United.

For 25 years, 5280 Gymnastics has been more than a gym. It has been a place where athletes have built confidence, friendships have been formed, goals have been achieved, and lifelong memories have been made.

It all began when Beth and Jim Trammell purchased the Wheat Ridge location with a vision of creating something special. Together with Vlad, Jim built an extraordinary boys program that laid the foundation for what 5280 would become. Over the past 25 years, that vision has grown into so much more than a gymnastics facility. It has become a community where children discover their potential, families find a second home, and coaches inspire the next generation.

To Beth, Jim, and the entire Trammell family, thank you for your dedication and unwavering commitment to the athletes, families, coaches, and staff who have been part of this journey. Your vision has impacted thousands of lives and created a legacy that continues to grow.

This tribute is a celebration of every athlete, family, coach, staff member, volunteer, and alumnus who has helped shape the story of 5280 Gymnastics. Thank you for trusting us, believing in us, and being part of these incredible 25 years.

What an incredible weekend for our 5280 alumni at the Pan American Championships!

We're so proud to see former 5280 athletes representing their countries on the international stage and continuing to achieve amazing things.

Yul Moldauer — Pan American Champion on Parallel Bars, 4th on Pommel, 4th on Rings, 7th on High Bar, and a member of the Team USA Bronze Medal-winning team.

Vitaliy Guimaraes — Bronze Medalist on Floor Exercise and a member of Team Brazil's 4th-place finish.

Taylor Burkhart — 7th on Parallel Bars, 6th on High Bar, and a member of the Team USA Bronze Medal-winning team.

Melissa Fernandez proudly represented both the Dominican Republic and the 5280 family throughout the competition.

Watching our alumni continue to pursue excellence on the world stage is a reminder of the impact that hard work, determination, and passion can have throughout an athlete’s gymnastics journey.
