Take a moment today to watch how your dog gets up from the floor.

Do they rise smoothly, or do they need a few tries? Do they shift their weight to one side, stretch for a long time, hesitate, or seem stiff when they first stand?

These small changes can give us helpful information about how their body is moving and whether they may be compensating.

Dogs are incredibly good at adapting, so subtle changes are often worth paying attention to before they become bigger concerns.

Take a look today and see what you notice. 🐾

Just a reminder on this beautiful June afternoon to enjoy the simple things in life. Things we can learn from dogs. They live in the moment and enjoy lifes simple gifts.

Tip Tuesday: Try a quick desk posture reset.

If you spend a lot of your day sitting at a computer, your body can slowly start to creep into survival mode without you even noticing. Shoulders inch up, head moves forward, low back gets stiff, jaw clenches, and suddenly your body feels like it has been holding a meeting with stress all day.

Here’s a quick reset:

Place both feet on the floor, let your shoulders soften, bring your screen close to eye level if you can, unclench your jaw, and take one slow breath before you keep working.

It does not have to be perfect. The goal is not rigid posture. The goal is to give your body a little more support and a quick reminder that it can move, breathe, and settle.

Try this once today and see how your body feels. 💙

Senior dogs deserve support before things become a crisis.

Yes, aging is real. Our dogs’ bodies do change as they get older. But “getting older” does not always have to mean struggling more and more.

Slowing down, hesitating on stairs, struggling to get up, or needing more time to warm up can all be signs their body is compensating or working harder than it needs to.

Animal Chiropractic care can help support mobility, comfort, nervous system function, and overall body awareness so senior dogs can keep doing the things they love with more ease.

The goal is not to turn back time. It is to help them feel as good as possible in the body they have now.

What is one thing your senior dog still loves to do? 🐾

Tiny movement breaks count.

You do not need a full workout, a perfect routine, or an hour of free time to give your body some support during the day. Sometimes your nervous system just needs a quick reminder that it is safe to move, breathe, and reset.

Stand up between tasks. Roll your shoulders. Take a short walk around the room. Stretch your neck gently. Unclench your jaw. Let your breath actually drop into your body instead of living up in your shoulders.

It sounds simple because it is, but simple does not mean ineffective.

Your body was not designed to sit in one position, stare at a screen, hold stress in your shoulders, and power through forever. A little movement throughout the day can go a long way in helping your body feel less stuck.

Set a timer today and take one 2-minute movement break. Your body will thank you. 💙

Dogs are really good at telling us when something feels off, but they do not always make it obvious.

Sometimes it is not a big limp or a dramatic yelp. Sometimes it looks like hesitating before jumping on the couch, taking the stairs a little slower, shifting their weight when they stand, licking at a paw, being less playful, or seeming a little more grumpy, clingy, or restless than usual.

And because dogs are so good at adapting, these little changes can be easy to miss or easy to brush off as “they’re just getting older.”

But subtle changes are still communication.

Animal Chiropractic care can help support healthy movement, comfort, and nervous system function so your dog can keep doing the things they love with more ease.

Have you ever noticed your dog acting a little different before you realized something was going on? 🐾

Your body is not being dramatic.

That tight neck, the low back stiffness, the tension that keeps creeping back in, the headache that shows up after a long day, or that feeling of “I just feel off” are all ways your body may be asking for a little more support.

So often we wait until our body is yelling before we listen. But your body is communicating with you all the time. Sometimes it whispers before it shouts.

Chiropractic care is not just about chasing pain. It is about helping your body move better, helping your nervous system communicate more clearly, and supporting your ability to function through all the things life asks of you.

So here is your Monday reminder: you do not have to wait until you are completely uncomfortable to take care of yourself.

What is one way your body tells you it needs care?

Wondering what actually happens at your dog’s first Chiropractic visit?

The first visit is all about getting to know your dog and understanding the bigger picture. We talk through their history, lifestyle, movement changes, concerns, and any veterinary information you have.

Then I observe how they move, how they stand, how they sit, and how they respond to gentle handling. The exam is calm, intentional, and based on what your dog is comfortable with.

If Chiropractic care is appropriate, adjustments are gentle and specific.
My goal is never to force your dog through the visit.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive experience that helps us understand what their body needs.

Your dog gets to be part of the conversation too.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a reminder of the sacrifice, courage, and selflessness of those who never made it home and the families who carry that loss every day.

Grateful for the freedoms we have because of their service and sacrifice.

May we take a moment today to remember, reflect, and honor them. ❤️🤍💙

Animal chiropractor starter pack: coffee in hand, music up, and on my way to help a pup move and feel better. 🐾☕🎶

Honestly, this is one of my favorite parts of the job. A little drive time, a good playlist, and knowing there is a sweet dog waiting for their adjustment.

Mobile dog chiropractic days just hit different. 🧡
