Today, we invited a professional caricature artist to show us what he’s made of—and our residents were ready to put him to the test! They lined up, struck their best poses, and waited to see themselves through an artist’s eyes.
Let’s just say… the drawings did NOT disappoint! 😂 Our residents had a blast seeing their personalities come to life on paper, and there was plenty of laughter along the way.

👑💃 Today was ALL about the ladies! 💃👑
We poked a little fun at ourselves, kicked back, cut loose, and celebrated Womanhood: The Senior Edition at our very first “Old Broads Ball!” 😂🎀
The ladies donned their boas and tiaras, gathered with friends, turned up the music, and let the good times roll! We had a table overflowing with sweet treats, girly door prizes galore, plenty of laughter, and just enough sass to remind everyone that age is only a number—and these ladies are still a whole lot of fun! 💋👠
There’s just something special about women getting together, laughing until their sides hurt, sharing stories, and celebrating the wonderful women they’ve become.
The Old Broads Ball was proof that you’re never too old to get dolled up, have a little fun, and party like the queens you are! 👑🥂
Because around here, we may have a few more wrinkles, but we’ve still got plenty of attitude, style, and girl power! ❤️

👨‍🍳🥩 We just LOVE our fellas! And our fellas just LOVE a good home-cooked meal! ❤️
Today, “Man Cave” made a comeback, and our guys couldn’t have been happier! The fellas gathered around for some serious comfort food and even more serious appetites. 😋
Their plates were overflowing with grilled pork ribs, a baked potato bar loaded with all the “spud-tackler” fixings, corn and zucchini casserole, and made-from-scratch iced brownies for dessert. 🍖🥔🌽🍫
Let’s just say nobody went away hungry… they just went away to take a nap! 😂💤
Good food, great fellowship, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of happy fellas! That’s what Man Cave is all about!

🇺🇸 Today, we remembered. Today, we stood together. Today, we honored a hero. 🇺🇸
Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced a tremendous loss that forever changed our country and touched countless lives.
Today, our Springfield Assisted Living community gathered in remembrance of September 11, 2001. But this year, our remembrance was especially personal as we stood beside someone who witnessed that tragedy firsthand.
David Onorato, a retired New York City firefighter and 9/11 survivor, was there on September 11, 2001. He saw the devastation with his own eyes and carries those memories with him to this day.
Today, we were honored to stand with David as we remembered those who were lost, those who sacrificed, and the countless heroes who answered the call.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our own Springfield firefighters, who came to stand beside David and our residents in remembrance. Your presence meant more than words can express.
Sometimes, there simply are no words.
There is only remembrance.
There is gratitude.
There is honor.
There is community.
Today, we remembered together. And we will NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸🕊️
