From pickle ball to group fitness to fishing (yes, it counts!), your options for staying active are endless at The Ohio Masonic Communities. Our campuses each have acres of beautiful scenery and walking trails, fitness centers, and more ways for you to get moving!

Not only is exercise beneficial for our physical health, but it’s also great for our social wellness! Taking a walk with a loved one, playing a game of corn hole, or joining a new fitness class are all great ways to socialize and engage with your community.

Known as the “Dementia Magic Table”, Lucynt Tables use innovative projector systems to create an interactive table with a variety of games and activities for residents. These accessible, cutting-edge tables project changing, interactive landscapes onto surfaces and allow residents to interact with different things. These help improve hand-eye coordination, provides physical and mental stimulation, evoke memories, and promotes resident socialization.

What does “independent living” mean at a senior living community? And why should you consider it as an older adult? 🤔

Independent living is geared towards healthy, active individuals who want to embrace a worry-free lifestyle while still living independently. 🏡

Unlike other types of senior living care like assisted living and memory support, independent living does not include care in activities of daily life. Our independent living accommodations feature two options, villas and apartments, and include the amenities of living at one of our campuses. Being an independent living resident is a great way to connect and thrive in a new community!

Life stations are specialized, interactive areas in memory care settings designed to mimic familiar, real-world environments. Each station encourages and engages residents through purposeful and repetitive activities—like gardening or organizing tools—and help tap into muscle memory, reduce anxiety, and foster a sense of pride. 🩵
