The 12th Annual Holyoke/Chicopee Department of Developmental Services Art Exhibition, 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘀𝘁: 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮, is coming up on Thursday, November 19.
Join in celebrating the creativity and unique perspectives of artists in our community, with an ocean-inspired theme and artwork that promises to make a splash.

This week, we’re celebrating Direct Support Professional Recognition Week and the dedicated people who make a difference every day.
At neba, our DSPs help individuals build confidence, develop skills, pursue meaningful employment, and work toward greater independence. Their work takes patience, creativity, flexibility, and compassion—and its impact is felt in countless ways.

A goal. A little persistence. And a big reason to celebrate.
Justin passed his Massachusetts driver's permit test!
After two unsuccessful attempts, he took some time to focus on another goal, then returned to studying with support from On Our Way. His hard work paid off.
This is more than passing a test. It's a reminder that progress doesn't always happen in a straight line — and that's okay.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and ordinary people who stepped forward to help.
We also remember the families, friends, and communities whose lives were changed forever.

Today, we’re taking a day to pause and recognize the people who make our workplaces, communities, and neighborhoods stronger.
neba is closed today in observance of Labor Day. We hope our staff, the people we support, and our community partners have a chance to enjoy some well-deserved time to rest, recharge, and spend time with the people who matter most.
We’ll be back tomorrow, ready to keep moving forward together.

As Labor Day weekend begins, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the value of work—and the people who make our workplaces and communities stronger.
At neba, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to work, contribute, grow, and build greater independence.

A reminder that the value of work goes beyond a paycheck. It’s about dignity, opportunity, and being recognized for what you bring to the table.
