Team Wellfleet completed its 16th Annual Memorial Spring Cleanup at Revitalize CDC's Neighborhood Rebuild on Apr. 26, joining with 600 local volunteers to help make homes safer and healthier for 12 homeowner families in Springfield, MA. 🌼🍂

Back in 2007, Wellfleet started this Spring Cleanup tradition of giving back by helping others with spring yard cleanup, in memory of employees who have passed on.

Thank you to and to all the volunteers who spent a rainy Saturday making lives better for our neighbors!

Members of Wellfleet's WE CARE Donations team recently donated 20 decommissioned company laptops to the nonprofit Tech Foundry in Springfield, which will assign the laptops to IT career trainees in Springfield. 💻

“Tech Foundry’s program opens the door for local young adults to pursue a career in IT, and I’m so glad we could support their students by donating laptops,” said Paul Nicholson, Finance Director. 💪

The laptops were former employee computers that the MedPro IT team decommissioned and reformatted, safely erasing all data. Paul worked with Jon Stauffer, MedPro IT Service Desk Leader, and Greg Ghareeb and Rarity Van Lone from the Wellfleet IT help desk team, to have the laptops shipped from Fort Wayne to Springfield.

Tech Foundry students will use the laptops for their 18-week IT training program, which is an integrated learning experience with classes, projects, and labs, and an internship. 🎉
