** Stories: Recovery is possible. ❤️**
What happens when someone who has known hopelessness, addiction, homelessness, and despair finds a different path?
They find purpose.
They build a life.
They give back.
They discover hope.
In this story, Jeff and Same share their journey from addiction and hopelessness to a life filled with community, purpose, and hope.
Recovery isn't always easy, and it doesn't look the same for everyone. But people can find recovery from substance use disorder and they go on to live meaningful, productive lives.
Sometimes the most important thing you can do is find your people, stay connected, keep showing up, and **just stay.**
Watch this powerful story and share it with someone who needs a little hope today.

When people in recovery share their stories with employers, faith communities, policymakers, and neighbors, they help create recovery-ready communities for everyone.

Celebrating recovery out loud is a powerful way to reduce stigma. This Recovery Month, let's honor milestones reached, relationships rebuilt, and lives transformed.
You don't have to wait for a crisis to reach out. When you’re worried about yourself or someone you love, a conversation, a call, chat or a text to 988 can help before distress becomes a crisis: 988lifeline.org

Recovery is not a journey taken alone, and today we are proud to celebrate several members of Redeemed Recovery here at the Springfield Recovery Community Center.
These individuals have reached the remarkable milestone of one year in their program. Their courage, commitment, and determination are a testament to what is possible when people support one another and stay focused on recovery.
Please join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved achievement! 👏

What if the recovery community stopped competing—and started working together?
In this episode of the Better Life in Recovery podcast, David and Josh have a powerful conversation about **overdose deaths, harm reduction, Narcan, the Good Samaritan Law, stigma, and why collaboration matters.**
The goal isn't to promote one pathway to recovery. It’s to help people **stay alive long enough to find the pathway that works for them.**
Watch the conversation and tell us: **What can we do better when it comes to working together to save lives?**
