National Homeownership Month is HERE! 🏡

Homeownership changes everything👇

▪️It creates stability for families
▪️ Strengthens neighborhoods
▪️ Builds generational wealth
▪️ Gives people a place to truly call home

That’s why the Drew Lewis Foundation is proud to celebrate National Homeownership Month through the Blue House Project and the Broadway Cottage Courtyard—an innovative affordable homeownership community designed to create lasting opportunities right here in Springfield.

This vision is becoming reality thanks to the incredible support of our Presenting Sponsor, Arvest Bank!

Together, we’re investing in more than houses! We’re investing in people, futures, and a stronger community for generations to come.

Throughout June, we'll be sharing construction updates, stories of impact, and ways you can help bring this neighborhood to life. Our goal is to raise $55,000 to help make affordable homeownership possible for more families!💪

The future is being built on Broadway and we invite you to be part of it. 🏠✨

🌞The weather is getting nicer… thinking about making some improvements to your house? We may be able to help.

Restore My Block team applications are open.

This program is all about neighbors working together to improve their block. A few teams are already starting to form, and we’d love to see more get involved.

Through a Restore My Block project, homeowners can receive dollar-for-dollar reimbursement on exterior improvements like roofs, windows, siding/paint, landscaping, and more.

5–9 households = up to $1,000 reimbursement per home
10–19 households = up to $2,500 reimbursement per home

If you own and live in your home in one of the following neighborhoods, you may be eligible:
Doling Park (East of Robbinson Avenue)
Fassnight
Grant Beach
Meador Park (East of National Avenue)
Woodland Heights

If you’ve got a few close neighbors interested, that’s all it takes to get started. We’ll help guide you through the rest.

Reach out if you want to learn more or start forming a team! 🏘
