Emmy-nominated, SAG Award-winner Rainn Wilson is coming to Missouri State as the keynote speaker for the 2026 Public Affairs Conference.
Best known for his iconic role on The Office as Dwight Schrute, an awkward, gullible salesman at fictional paper company Dunder Mifflin, Wilson is one of television's most recognizable comedic actors. Beyond the show, he has built a career as a producer, author and co-founder of SoulPancake, a media company focused on connection, creativity and meaningful conversations. On Sept. 29, he’ll bring that perspective and more to Missouri State for a keynote conversation that is free and open to the public.

Big things are happening at Missouri State. On Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., we’ll share an update and announce several gifts associated with our new home. The Clifton M. Smart III University Advancement Center is a place where current Bears and Bears for Life can connect, celebrate traditions, build community and continue shaping the future of Missouri State together.
While the announcement event is not open to the public due to the construction site location, the moment will be livestreamed here on Facebook so the entire Bear community can celebrate alongside us.

The Missouri State Foundation will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen as usual Tuesday, May 26.
