Reason we go hard on the legs and explosive movements this time of year!! In ten years of training 30-40 kids a year I have seen one kid need Tommy John. I practice what I preach and still throw 100-400 balls a night! Knock on Kerry Wood!! lol

Back to off-season training! Feels kind of nice to hit the reset button! Back to being feel oriented; Not result oriented. Back to getting to explosive movements and getting as strong as we can before we gotta start worrying about being on time and squaring up the baseball again or throwing strikes. Feeling new life in the changing of seasons!

In an effort to put our money where our mouth is and cut down on single use water bottles we have gotten rid of the refrigerator in the lab. We will have a water dispenser for free to replace it. So make sure you have your water bottles with you When you come in. I will occasionally have some free water bottles to put up there for people to take and reuse as they would like.

Watch Fastball the documentary! Very interesting breakdown of the fastball and physicists showing how it does not technically rise. But that the four seem backspin certainly creates less drop. And then you listen to Bryce Harper and Hank Aaron say the physicist are crazy and they need to grab a bat and stand in the box and then say a 100 mile an hour 4 seam fastball doesn’t rise! Lol
