We had an absolutely fantastic time hosting our 55+ community for a Memorial Day Cookout and Heat Stroke & Hydration Workshop at Shawnee Place Apartments. They enjoyed delicious pulled pork, cowboy beans & mac n' cheese that we brought to kick off , but more importantly, we shared some essential tips to keep our seniors safe in the summer sun! ☀️

Today we want to celebrate the strength, determination, and progress of our rehab graduates at Good Shepherd Village. 💙
They have worked incredibly hard to regain independence, rebuild confidence, and reach their goals.

We are so proud of each of these residents for their perseverance and dedication throughout their rehabilitation journey. Thank you to our amazing therapy and nursing teams for the compassion and encouragement you provide every day!

We had the absolute privilege of taking our resident veterans to the Memorial Day parade. Seeing their faces light up and hearing their stories is a moment we will never forget. to the brave men and women who served our country—today and every day, we honor you. ❤️🤍💙

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, led by Mental Health America, and this year’s message is “More Good Days Together.”

A good day can look different for everyone. It might be a smile, a calm moment, or time spent with someone you enjoy. Mental health is part of everyday life, and even small moments of connection can help brighten the day.

Spending time together, checking in, and sharing simple moments can help create more good days for all of us. This month, we are focusing on those small, meaningful moments that bring comfort, connection, and a little more joy. Crafting smiles! 😁 We had a wonderful afternoon doing arts and crafts with our residents. It’s amazing to see their coordination skills in action, and they were beyond happy with their final masterpieces! 👏🎨
