Retake/Remake

We are quite colorful this weekend and well stocked in all departments(need some glitter?). We sell used, unusual, not-made-anymore and completely new arts and crafts supplies at affordable prices. Of note: Paternayan can be used for knitting, felting, embroidery, needlepoint and antique rug repair - we have the most beautiful colors! Shop Thursday through Sunday from 10-4pm at The Hat Factory in Peekskill, NY.

Vintage Linens are one of our favorite donations and these came in with their original receipt from 30 years ago. The crochet work is intricate and beautiful (imagine the time to do this!) and each panel has enough edging to use in an upcycled clothing or home good design. Save the date to save all your classroom supplies from the landfill! We’re dedicating two days to collect all your gently used school supplies (no appointment needed) after local schools dismiss for the summer. Your donations will be processed to give back to teachers at our FREE back-to-school event, rerouted to local nonprofit groups, or to sell to the community at affordable prices. Share with your community and schools!

Four years ago, Tom McCaffrey hung our first store sign and today, he did the last sign installation of his career on our new Donation Center Building (the former McCaffrey Sign Company). Tom is a skilled craftsman, and a great neighbor, who worked with countless municipalities and local businesses to “sign” their buildings, cars and trucks He was the best! Happy Retirement Tom. We will miss you. #
