The Wisconsin Society of Pharmacy Students is thrilled to share that we were selected from a record-breaking pool of 331 organizations at UW-Madison for the 2026 Bucky Award for Outstanding Service.

WSPS is thrilled to be taking home National Second-Runner Up for Operation Heart presented by CVS Health ❤️, as well as our Midyear Regional Meeting Awards for 2024-25 (OSUD, MedDrop, OTC Med Safety).

Personal Health Partner returns to Brittingham Apartments with Clearing the Air, with an extra trivia to spice up the learning! Along with Owen from Operation Airways, Jessica and Reese of PHP hosted a smoking cessation trivia for 15+ residents who were interested in stepping up their knowledge about smoking and quitting. The UW School of Pharmacy's organization, WSPS Operation Organ Donation Awareness is here to provide you with the tastiest treats! WSPS is so grateful to the students, pharmacists, and event staff who made this night possible. This event consistently is a student favorite, and it’s because of the incredible pharmacists who generously share their journeys with us. Thank you to all of our members who wore red to show support, and a massive thank you to our Operation Heart Co-Chairs, Lexi and Caitlin, who continually go above and beyond for raising awareness of cardiovascular disease. WSPS is so proud of the difference makers our students are.

We were also able to surprise our Policy Chairs with their own Good Government Awards at our Feb Meeting! ❤️

WSPS had a massive turn out for PSW Legislative Day, and we had a great time connecting with others in the profession and advocating for our patients. Until next year!

Each year, WSPS hosts Conference on Conferences, designed to simulate a professional pharmacy conference and help student pharmacists feel more confident and prepared to attend both state and national meetings.

Pharmacists from different practice sites across Wisconsin have volunteered their time to spend an evening with Student Pharmacists from Madison, MCW, and Concordia and serve as roundtable discussion facilitators. There will be complementary appetizers and a cash bar.

This mock conference environment helps break down barriers to attendance and teaches students how to maximize the value of conference experiences. Our theme this year is “Your Seat at the Table: Building Confidence, Connections, and Direction,” and we are extremely excited to be hosting Dr. Nicholas Olson as our Keynote Speaker for the night.

This year, Conference on Conferences will take place on: Friday, February 27th, 2026 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. This event is open to all PharmD students, regardless of WSPS membership.
