At Wisconsin Literacy, we believe literacy opens doors and strengthens communities, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive as their full selves.

A heartfelt thank-you to COABE for connecting us with Human-I-T and the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to partner in providing laptops and digital skills training to adults and families across Wisconsin. To date, more than 2,200 laptops have been distributed with the help of our member agencies. Collective action allows up to amplify our impact. We are grateful for the combined efforts by everyone involved!

Wisconsin Literacy is proud to spotlight our Executive Director, Jake Gorges, who serves as chair of the Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment’s Workforce Committee.
This role places Wisconsin Literacy at the table for important statewide discussions workforce policy, job quality, and WIOA funding. Jake's Committee leadership helps ensure that adult literacy remains a vital solution for Wisconsin’s workers, employers, and communities. It also amplifies our member agency voices and student success stories.
