Urgent Call to Action

One of our Hero Labradors — a service dog who has protected and supported an Iraq & Afghanistan veteran for years — is now fighting for her own life.

After recovering from her first TPLO knee surgery, she tore her other knee… and then became acutely ill the day after Thanksgiving. She has been hospitalized ever since.

Veterinary specialists discovered a dangerous joint infection in her recently repaired knee. She now needs emergency surgery to save her mobility, followed by her second TPLO once she stabilizes.

This veteran’s service dog has given him independence, safety, stability, and hope through years of pain and medical challenges. Today, she needs us to fight for her.

Hey... if you're looking for a place to put your money to good use, Hero Labradors could really use an infusion of funds. In just a few weeks, (late August) we're looking at a $1k vet bill, then delivering (and donating!) these cuties to service dog training programs from NY to FL. The delivery trips average $3k.

In addition to the $2.5k in the costs of making them.So please, anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
