Eyes are starting to open across Rouge's litter. And very soon, I suspect, for Anela's.

I don't know what the deal is with FB, but I get comments and messages and half the time clicking on the notification won't take me to the comment to respond to it.

So, if I don't respond, it's probably that.

Sadly, one of Pono's boys passed this morning.

The nursery is full, the milk bar is open, and the puppies have already completed their most important tasks of the day: eat, sleep, pile on top of each other, repeat.
These little ones may not look like much more than sleepy potatoes right now, but this is where it all begins. Over the coming weeks, every experience, every bit of care, and every stage of development helps lay the foundation for what we hope they’ll become someday: extraordinary working and service dogs.
For now, though, we’re perfectly happy to let them concentrate on being puppies. ❤️
Great service dogs don’t happen by accident.

We lost a little boy this morning.
He wasn't one of the very little pups, average sized (for such a big litter) and otherwise healthy. No struggling, no distress.

This happens sometimes.
