For the first time ever, all Youth Rodeo entries and live results will be handled through the Rodeo Ready App during the 2026 Jim Bowie Days celebration.

The Youth Rodeo takes place June 23–24, 2026 in Bowie, Texas as part of the 60th Anniversary of Jim Bowie Days.

The Open Rodeo is a great time for the kiddos! We have a couple of events just for them! Mutton Bustin' and a Calf Scramble.

Mutton Bustin' is for girls and boys age 6 and under and less than 55 pounds. Arrive by 6:30pm to enter. Space is limited.

The Calf Scramble will award a new bicycle to the winner each night.

The Open Rodeo will be held this weekend, May 22 & 23, 2026 at Montague County Cowboy Church. Bring the whole family!
