🌟 We still have a few spots left for Project: VISION's 2026 Leadership Summer Camp! 🌟 Join us for 7 weeks of learning, adventure, and fun from June 22 – August 7!

This year's theme is Leadership, where rising 5th-8th grade students will:
- Build leadership and teamwork skills
- Participate in hands-on activities and workshops
- Enjoy exciting field trips and outdoor adventures
- Make new friends and strengthen existing connections
- Discover how they can make a positive impact in their communities

Our summer camp is offered à la carte, so families can register week-by-week based on their summer schedules. Spots are limited—register today!

Ying's Artist Statement:

Despite being called weeds by many, dandelions continue to spread and grow with resilience. They reflect the many communities that migrated to Chicago and built the ethnic neighborhoods we know and love today, including Chinatown.

Chinatown was founded as a refuge from anti-Chinese sentiment and became a place where people could support one another, remain steadfast in their identity, and create change. Today, it is a vibrant community where people of all ages come together to celebrate diverse cultures.

Chinese culture is not only alive but thriving, often in collaboration with other cultures. This growth signifies healing, pride, and community that continue to make an impact and spread wherever they go, just like dandelions.

We love it when our students share their achievements with us!

Congratulations to Selina (🐐) on being selected as a recipient of this year’s STEM Scholarship! We know the competition was tough, but we always knew the GOAT could do it.

With this scholarship, Selina hopes to advocate for positive change and make a meaningful impact in the community. We’re proud of her accomplishment and excited to see all that she achieves in the future! 🎉👏

🎉Congratulations to Ryan for receiving the Yesha Yu Scholarship!🎉

The Yesha Yu Scholarship was established by Yesha Yu, a PV alum who wanted to give back to the community that supported her throughout her high school years. She has shared how much PV helped shape her journey, and now, as a working professional, she hopes to ensure that current students receive the same support and opportunities she once had.

We can’t think of a more deserving recipient than Ryan, who will be majoring in education at University of Wisconsin-Madison .💗 Ryan was inspired to support students in accessing equitable and inclusive education and hopes to create a safe and welcoming classroom environment for future students as an educator.

🌸Spring time is the best family time. 🌸

We held a PV Family Day at Starved Rock because apparently the best way to bond is to voluntarily hike uphill together and pretend nobody is asking, “Are we there yet?” 😅

Nothing beats spending time with family and friends in nature... plus getting your daily steps in without realizing it. 🌿👟
