Last week, five families were reunited at Child Link.
During , we are reminded that foster care is not only about finding forever homes through adoption. For many children, the hope is to safely return home to their families after a difficult season.
Reunification is one of the most meaningful outcomes in foster care. It means parents have worked hard, children have been supported, and families have been given the resources, guidance, and stability they need to move forward together.
At Child Link, we are proud to walk alongside children and families during some of their hardest moments and celebrate when healing and reunification become possible.
To our donors and supporters your generosity helps make this work possible. Thank you for supporting children, strengthening families, and helping bring loved ones back together.

This week, we highlight another graduating senior moment. Because of our donors, one Child Link senior got to go to prom feeling confident, included, and celebrated. π
Child Link provided his prom tux and covered graduation expenses so he could attend with friends and experience a milestone every senior deserves.
Now, we are so proud to celebrate him as he graduates and heads to a top university in the area! He is driven, caring, and always looking out for his siblings.
This time, donor support and the team at Child Link helped make sure someone was looking out for him, too.
Congratulations, graduate! We canβt wait to see all that you do next. π

Graduation is not guaranteed for youth in foster care.
Nationally, only about half of foster youth graduate high school by age 18, compared to 87% of students overall. For many youth in care, graduation represents more than a diploma. It represents resilience, stability, and the support of people who believed they could make it.
This graduation season, we are celebrating the young people who have worked hard to reach this milestone, and we are reminded how important community support can be.
Your support helps provide the resources youth need to feel prepared, encouraged, and confident as they take their next step.

Graduation is always worth celebrating, but for youth in foster care, this milestone can mean even more. ππ
Today, we are proud to celebrate Tywrell, a Child Link youth who has been in care for just over two years and is graduating high school this year. This fall, Tywrell will continue his education at Northern Illinois University, and we could not be more excited for what is ahead.
In Illinois, youth in foster care continue to face major barriers to educational success. Only about 50% of children in traditional foster care graduate from high school, making every graduation a powerful achievement worth recognizing.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, Child Link was able to help cover Tywrellβs graduation expenses this year, making sure he could walk into this milestone feeling celebrated, supported, and seen.
This graduation season, you can help more youth in foster care reach important milestones like this one. Head to our donation page to learn how you can support graduation moments like Tywrell's. https://onecau.se/_au4h21

Every child deserves permanency, belonging, and a place to call home. Nearly 100,000 children in foster care are waiting to be adopted.
For some children, adoption becomes the path to long-term stability and family. This , we honor the children still waiting and the families who open their hearts and homes.
